Are the cabinets sized in 3” increments?
Since our cabinetry is custom designed and constructed, we can size our cabinetry to fit any space to within a fraction of an inch. No fillers required.
I thought quality cabinets are made with solid wood. Why are my custom cabinets specified to be plywood carcass construction.
High quality custom cabinetry is typically constructed using a combination of plywoods and hardwoods. The “carcass” or cabinet box is almost always constructed of plywood. Plywood has the advantage of being a lighter, more stable and more cost effective material. It’s important to ensure your cabinet maker will use only the best grades of domestic plywood for your cabinet boxes. Hardwoods should be used for the face frames, end panels, drawer boxes, doors and trim.
